Your career data stays yours.

In short

• Guests: intake, CV, applications, cover letters, and interview stories stay in your browser (local storage) only
• Signed in: the same career workspace syncs to your account so you can continue on another device — not used for ads or model training
• Staff do not get a CV browsing screen in ops — ops is for accounts, plans, and payment claims
• Signing in requires agreeing to this policy and the Terms of Service on the sign-in page

What we collect on the server

• Account email and display name from Google sign-in
• Plan, role, and account status
• Login / activity timestamps and short action labels (e.g. “Completed Your profile”, “CV download”)
• When signed in: career workspace JSON (intake, CV, tracker, stories) — synced to your profile so progress follows your account; deleted when you delete the account
• Optional onboarding survey answers (why you use the service, where you heard about us, optional note) — used only to improve ResuCVease
• Payment claims, when you submit them:
  • Name on payment
  • Reference and optional note
  • Amount (₱199)
  • Proof file (JPG, PNG, or PDF · max 10 MB)
• Security audit events (approvals, bans, etc.)

Uploaded text is length-limited and sanitized. Proof files are checked by type and content signature. Rate limits apply to reduce abuse.

Why we collect it

• Sign-in and account security
• Fraud prevention
• Unlocking Pro after verified payment
• Operating the service

Payment proofs are visible only to staff on the ops console.

Retention & deletion

• Platform accounts stay until you delete them via Account, or we close an abusive account
• Deleting your account removes your profile, synced workspace, claims, and proof files
• Local career files last until you use Workspace → Clear all or clear site data
• Export a PDF first if you need a backup

Sub-processors

• Hosting / CDN for the website
• Convex — auth, account/plan data, payment claims and proofs, and (when signed in) synced career workspace for your account
• Vercel — hosting and Web Analytics (aggregate page views)
• Payment wallets you choose when scanning the Pro QR (e.g. GCash) — we do not store card numbers

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data or use career answers for ads or model training
• Staff tools focus on accounts and payments — there is no product UI for browsing other people’s full CV text in a feed
